 Ein Senior ist nicht etwa ein Spieler, der durch verminderte physische Kräfte oder durch ein schlechteres psychologisches Nervenkostüm als Senior, bezeichnet werden müsste, sondern man wird im Golfsport in dem Moment Senior, in weichem das 55. Lebensjahr erreicht ist, bei Pros und Damen allerdinsg schon im 50. Lebensjahr. Manche Golfpros der US PGA Tour warten nur auf diesen Moment, um dann wieder erneut große Gelder zu kassieren.
